A cook book for every mood…

My boyfriend and I got a beautiful cook book for Christmas – thank you Ellen! It’s called NOPI and has impressive recipes, perfect for showing off every now and then. Whilst flicking through the pages I realised I have hardly any cook books. So, I thought it would be fun to see what’s new and put together a healthyish wish list.

The simple one…

You can’t go wrong with Jamie Oliver and I’m intrigued by his new book 5 Ingredients. One thing I don’t like about cook books is finding a recipe I like only to discover I need a bunch of weird ingredients. Who can be arsed to traipse around looking for banana leaves on the way home from work. Not me! The idea of 5 ingredients sounds perfect for simple dinners during the week.

The veggie one…

I’ve loved Anna Jones since using her first book A Modern Way To Eat. She’s since written two more – A Modern Way To Cook & The Modern Cook’s Year. I try to go meat free a few nights a week and her vegetarian recipes are super tasty, filling and not to complicated.

The all rounder…

Hemsley Hemsley are two sister who create trendy, healthy recipes which are right up my street. These books aren’t particularly new but they have been on my really, really waaant list for ages. There are two books The Art of Eating Well & Good & Simple.
