Wanna make this year a success? Here are my ideas!

The great thing about the new year is that feeling of a clean slate. This is the time when we tend to be more optimistic and open to making positive changes in our lives. I don’t know about you but general day to day living can occupy my mind leaving little space for my dreams and ambitions. So, I’m taking advantage of this positive time with these tips for success in 2018.

Get organised with an app?

OK, so the key to getting shit done is to be more organised and that aint my strong point I can tell you. I read something recently about bullet journaling, there’s even an app for it. I didn’t download that particular one because it wasn’t free! Call me a cheapskate but I found an alternative that is free. You can create a bullet journal using a note book or an app it’s totally up to you. It’s a place to note down your to-do list for each day, week or month. Another thing I discovered is making a note of your mood. I find this interesting as you can look back and track your mood patterns to see if specific things make you happy or sad.

Becoming the best version of yourself….

I’m on a quest to become the best version of myself. I believe that everyone is a great person but we all have personal baggage that can weigh us down at times. If we can identify the things that are weighing us down we can work on getting rid of them. As we remove those negative patterns of behavior, pessimism, gossiping, being judgemental, you know what I mean. Then we invite more blessings into our lives and become closer to becoming our best selves.

Now it’s time to dream…

This part is really exciting and can have a great effect on your wellbeing. Take a minute and think about what you want to achieve in life. I always feel happy when I do this so I highly recommend you give it a go. It’s important to make space for your dreams and putting together a list will help manifest them. This can be a written list of goals. You could focus on one in particular and map out the steps you need to get from A to B. Another idea is to create a dream board using pictures of the things you want from life.

By combining these tips we have a better chance of reaching our potential this year. There will be inevitable up’s and down’s along the way. But if we remain determined and keep moving forwards then we have a better chance of ending the year having achieved something that makes us really happy.

I agree with scheduling, I want to find better ways to organize my blogging schedule, but not to overwhelm myself with using too many organizing tools.

I really enjoy the Lindor white chocolate in the photos! I received so much Lindt this holiday season…so yummy. Great post all around – I am definitely going to be bullet journaling in 2018…it seems to be easier to follow than structured journals. 🙂
