10 things I love to do at the weekend

Two days is never enough…

Working in a hair salon I spent many years working on Saturday’s. This meant Friday night’s out were a no go even though I often did end up going out! I shudder when I remember the commute to work on Saturday morning literally dying from a hangover. It has to be one of the worst feelings in the world, right? So now I’m a lil bit older and no longer in the salon every week I can finally enjoy a work free weekend. Who am I kidding? I’m always blogging at the weekend but when it’s something you love it’s not quite work is it?

Call me Teddy…

Hello from London! It’s been a very busy 10 days working in the salon every day and catching up with my mates in the evening. If you follow my insta stories you will know what I’m talking about. I’m having so much fun and hardly any sleep! When I get back to Germany I’m aiming for 8 hours sleep a night for at least a week. I managed to pick out some really cool clothes from ASOS and I love everything. This white teddy jacket caught my eye when I saw it. It’s so unusual for me to wear a white jacket. Let alone a fluffy one! It’s really cute though and not at all wintery. I’m craving lighter and fresher things for spring and this feels like a nice transition. View Post

Minimal menswear = maximum style…

I put together this minimal style outfit using a few key wardrobe essentials. The tailored trousers have a wide leg that tapers at the ankle. The simple green jacket is buttoned up to allow those lines clean. I finished the look off with black sunnies, simple white sneakers and gloves. I think this looks relatively lightweight for a snowy winter day. It was freezing! But thanks to some nifty layering I remained nice and warm. It’s nice to go about my day toasty and easy going without always having to bulk out with a heavy coat. View Post

Thermal undies at the ready…

As a kid during the winter my mum would wrap me up for school each morning. I’d be so weighed down I could barely bend my arms let alone get a backpack on. These days I try to keep things lighter because let’s face it a huge winter coat isn’t always that stylish. I like to layer an outfit so I can stay warm without channeling the michelin man.

IT’S TIME TO WRAP UP…..

Coat season has arrived and I couldn’t be happier. I’m currently into anything long because it allows a real style statement whilst keeping the toosh nice and warm. I went a bit 80’s with this look by adding the vintage style sunglasses and tapered jeans. It’s a bit different for me and I kinda like the change. View Post
