My top gun moment…
The other day I remembered this aviator jacket from Aero Leathers. Since I haven’t worn it in over a year, now was the right time to show it off again. It pairs perfectly with my G.H. Bass x Cape Height’s boots and Willems Eyewear B-3 sunglasses. The boots are amazing BTW. They were a lifesaver in Germany this Winter. When you consider I’m out in the forest to walk my dog most mornings I need boots that are durable. No amount of snow, ice or rain has gotten past them and my feet are always dry and toasty. Definitely the real McCoy and they look so good. View Post
Today is my last day in Germany before I head to London for 10 days. I’m working through a mental to-do list and making the most of my time with Christian and Ralphy. As I need to pack this weekend I decided to share my tips when packing hand luggage. Whether it’s a long or short haul flight there is a check list of items I swear by.
Who said it’s the January blues???
Thank god it’s almost February. With each day that passes we are that little bit closer to Spring. I always find myself wishing this part of the year away which probably isn’t a good thing. But what can I say? I’m not a fan of the cold! The time has flown by though. It seems like only yesterday I was stuffing my face with Christmas dinner. But I suppose time fly’s when it’s busy. And despite the winter weather January has been a good month for me. Definitely no blues to report so far this year. View Post
I’m a little late getting around to this post as I went for fragrance profiling at Penhaligons in December. I remember rushing to my appointment at the store on Burlington Arcade. It was half snowing half raining on a Monday as I made my way from Green Park station. The week before was a particularly busy one and I’d given little thought to what fragrance profiling entails.
If I can learn a second language, anyone can…
Learning a new language is hard, especially if you come from an English speaking country. Let’s face it, life is easier when most people you encounter in a foreign country can understand you. Despite being a lazy Brit who is used to everyone speaking English I always wanted to learn a second language. My journey began when I moved to Germany several years ago with my boyfriend who I met in London.
