My friend called on Friday as I was wracking my brains for something to blog about. I was completely stuck and trying to think of something was beginning to annoy me (totally blaming it on the recent new moon of Scorpio). Anyway, when I picked up I could tell my friend was not right and I quickly asked what was going on. To cut a long story short she was overwhelmed with everything going on in her life and didn’t know what to do. As we chatted on the phone I tried to offer some tips and advice to help her stay centered whilst everything else swirls around like a tornado. Most of us experience some level of stress on a regular (if not daily) basis and after I hung up from my friend I considered my increasing writers block and put it down to the juggling act of managing tasks. The increasing demands of daily life aren’t going anywhere so testing out techniques to navigate the daily grind became the inspiration for today’s post. View Post

It’s been about 6 years since I went freelance and whilst it has it’s up’s and downs the overall experience has been positive. Previously I was working full time for a salon in London as a colourist. Then I set up a company with my boyfriend in Germany as we were preparing to launch our brand, Intensae nail lacquer. I combined working on the start-up with freelance jobs for a haircare brand to ensure the rent got paid each month.  View Post

In the last 18 months I have been blogging regularly and during that time I have learned so much about myself. Writing this is in itself making me feel uncomfortable as I’m opening up a little more. But at the same time I feel happy that I’m continuing to break down those internal walls and share what’s really going on inside. View Post

Oh lordy I have been struggling to blog this week and I’m blaming it on the gloomy weather. The sun disappeared behind a huge blanket of clouds and it’s done nothing but rain. It’s been a busy week with work which is great. On Monday I went to Stuttgart to pick up equipment for a photo shoot and Christian agreed to take some pictures of me for this blog post. Tuesday we drove to the shoot inside a factory located in the southern mountains which still looked beautiful in the insane rain that poured all day long. I also had a couple of opportunities for the blog which you will see in the next couple of months. View Post

There are those days when we wake up feeling a bit meh! It may be the weather, something that’s happening in life or mercury in retrograde serving us some heavy energy. These moments will always come up from time to time and whilst they can lower the mood there is always a chance to turn a bad day into a great day, we just need to try our best. Sometimes is doesn’t work and that’s okay but having solutions to help us along the way can increase the chance of dissolving those feelings as quickly as possible. View Post
