Thermal undies at the ready…
As a kid during the winter my mum would wrap me up for school each morning. I’d be so weighed down I could barely bend my arms let alone get a backpack on. These days I try to keep things lighter because let’s face it a huge winter coat isn’t always that stylish. I like to layer an outfit so I can stay warm without channeling the michelin man.
Career juggling in 2 countries plus climate change and LGBTQ+ issues.
It’s Boxing Day and I’m currently sitting in bed. The last couple of days have been really nice and I’m feeling relaxed but also motivated. I’ve been eating, drinking a bit, watching loads of movies and not much else tbh. All this chilling out has got me thinking about 2018 and I’m excited for what’s to come. 2017 has been a year of growth and I’m happy to end it having ironed out some of the creases in my life. I’ve managed to create a balance amongst my careers which I’ve been trying to do for the last few years. In addition the blog has helped me to develop a better understanding of who I am and where I’m going. All in all things are really good and I’m feeling pretty darn grateful. View Post
Lookin’ good on the go…
It’s almost time to sign off work for the Christmas holidays and I’m so ready for the time off. Right now I’m juggling last minute work commitments with running around looking for gifts. I’ve treated myself to a comfortable yet stylish outfit to get me in that ‘time off’ spirit. It was a perfect opportunity to wear my new, super soft Nicce London joggers.

‘Half a million tonnes of plastic microfibres are released per year from washed clothes – 16 times more than plastic microbeads from cosmetics – contributing to ocean pollution.’ – Dame Ellen MacArthur
Fashion is one of the many things that contribute to climate change. As a fashion and lifestyle blogger I feel it’s my duty to learn about the effects fashion has on our planet. Thanks to a recent interview with Stella McCartney I learned that microfibres from synthetic materials are polluting our seas.

IT’S TIME TO WRAP UP…..
Coat season has arrived and I couldn’t be happier. I’m currently into anything long because it allows a real style statement whilst keeping the toosh nice and warm. I went a bit 80’s with this look by adding the vintage style sunglasses and tapered jeans. It’s a bit different for me and I kinda like the change. View Post
