My friend called on Friday as I was wracking my brains for something to blog about. I was completely stuck and trying to think of something was beginning to annoy me (totally blaming it on the recent new moon of Scorpio). Anyway, when I picked up I could tell my friend was not right and I quickly asked what was going on. To cut a long story short she was overwhelmed with everything going on in her life and didn’t know what to do. As we chatted on the phone I tried to offer some tips and advice to help her stay centered whilst everything else swirls around like a tornado. Most of us experience some level of stress on a regular (if not daily) basis and after I hung up from my friend I considered my increasing writers block and put it down to the juggling act of managing tasks. The increasing demands of daily life aren’t going anywhere so testing out techniques to navigate the daily grind became the inspiration for today’s post. View Post
I’m on a fashion frenzy at the moment. I can’t stop thinking about outfits and I’m blaming it on this blog! Whilst I’m evolving my sense of style I’m still conscious of waste and the importance of investment pieces vs throw away fashion. As a blogger there can be a pressure to constantly wear something new. With that in mind I’m trying to rework individual pieces to create different looks without always buying something new – unless I decide it’s a worthy addition. Cultivating your own sense of style is a confidence booster but a passion for fashion can leave you with piles of clothes that have hardly been worn. In today’s post I’m taking this three piece outfit and explaining the place each item has in my wardrobe.
It’s been about 6 years since I went freelance and whilst it has it’s up’s and downs the overall experience has been positive. Previously I was working full time for a salon in London as a colourist. Then I set up a company with my boyfriend in Germany as we were preparing to launch our brand, Intensae nail lacquer. I combined working on the start-up with freelance jobs for a haircare brand to ensure the rent got paid each month. View Post
I’m excited to share my recent conversation with Kim Tilman Hahn on being vegan. Born and raised in Stuttgart, Kim currently lives in Munich with his French Bulldog named Boy. He has a career in art direction for digital fashion projects as well as brand development and website design. Kim enjoys healthy living and creating that work/life balance. He loves to travel and his favourite cities are LA and Stockholm.
I’m wearing a shirt from Maison Labiche AW/17-18.
I’m feeling frustrated with social media this week, well just Instagram to be honest. I received comments from my followers saying they hadn’t seen my posts in a while and I expect the algorithm has something to do with it. This situation goes to show the importance of maintaining a blog.
