When it comes to my skin each season brings a new list of requirements therefor I’ve added new skincare products to my routine. Winter for me means dry and sensitive skin but as Spring approaches the thirst quenching products begin to feel a bit heavy. Now the central heating is off – hoorah – I’ve put together a couple of products that cleanse and moisturise in a lighter way. Ultra Facial Cleanser* and Rosa Arctica* make a good combination for normal skin types showing the first signs of ageing. As the cleanser is of the traditional foaming variety I find a pea sized amount sufficient to thoroughly cleanse my face when mixed with luke warm water. The small amount leaves my skin perfect clean but not stripped – considering the tube is 150ml it will easily last until the end of summer. I initially intended to use Rosa Arctica as a night cream but I find it leaves no trace of shine on my skin making it a great daytime option. This is a rich cream that targets fine lines and wrinkles, as with the cleanser a small amount of this goes a long way. My current spf can leave my face looking shiny if I mix it with the wrong cream, in this case my skin is left hydrated and slightly matte which is perfect. As always I recommend you try any products before you buy to ensure they work for you. If you have any questions I’d love to hear from you so leave a comment or reach my on twitter or instagram. Kiehl’s products can be found internationally in larger department stores or online.
