Spring is in the air and I couldn’t he happier. That final cold spurt we had a couple of weeks ago nearly did me in. So now that Spring is approaching I’m ready to dive into a new Spring wardrobe. For this post I teamed up with House Of Fraser to create a fresh new look incorporating lighter layers.

Going with the slightly retro look I went for in this colour blocking post I continued with the vibe in this look. I love denim on denim and decided to go with contrasting tones of blue to mix it up. Both the jacket and the slim fit jeans are from Levi’s. It was the holy grail of denim brands when I was a teenager and the love is definitely still there.

To break up the look I went with this vintage style striped t-shirt from French Connection. The fit is oversize which looks great tucked into jeans. And it’s a bit thicker for a t-shirt which is perfect during the Springtime when it’s still not that warm. Then to finish off I couldn’t resist a fresh pair of sneakers. I went with Lacoste which is a new brand for me and I love them. They are super comfy and finish off the look nicely. This is my go to outfit for the weekend. It’s super casual yet put together and stylised.

I love this spring outfit! The denim on denim looks so good with the red striped shirt.
