It comes as no surprise that I’m my happiest when I’m dressed comfortably. I’m not the type of person to forgo comfort for a trend, believe me I’ve tried it and the results weren’t good. This doesn’t mean I don’t love a trend, it just has to love me and then I’m all over it. This week I caught sight of the first leaves beginning to change colour. With that in mind (sorry) I’m diving into outfit ideas (not sorry) for a new season and Esprit came up trumps. View Post

I’m going away next week so I wanted to show you the skincare products I will be taking with me. Kiehl’s surprised me with a wash bag with some products recently and I plan to make good use of it. Clear bags like this are great if you are traveling with hand luggage as you don’t need to bother with the clear bags they give you at the airport. I tend to take the minimum when traveling unless I’m going to the beach so no masks, exfoliators or any of that nonsense. It’s usually cleanser, moisturiser, serum, SPF, deodorant and shampoo. There are those moments in life when I feel so satisfied. I wish the feeling could go on and, on and….. Apparently life needs it’s ups and its downs because if there weren’t the downs we wouldn’t enjoy the ups quite so much. This whole situation got me thinking about things that trigger the happiness alarm in my brain. Yes, I could list exotic holidays and shopping sprees but that wouldn’t be particularly useful now would it. So I’m going to list the simplest things that leave me feeling somewhat content, happy and satisfied. View Post

I received so much positive feedback from my recent post on confidence, how blogging is shaping me as a person. The inspiration to write that post suddenly came to me and I quickly wrote down everything I was feeling at that moment. In this sometimes materialistic world it’s nice to throw a bit of heartfelt realness amongst the perfectly staged ‘real lives’ we often put out. Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a comment, it warms my heart : )
Today I thought it would be fun to share some things I have learned along the way so far. View Post
