MY CURRENT TRAVEL SKINCARE PRODUCTS

Skincare for the city…

It’s currently Sunday morning and I’m packing for tomorrow’s trip to London. I just put together the skincare products I’m taking and thought I’d share them with you. When I’m traveling I try to keep things to a minimum but it still ends up being more than I’d like. It currently stands at five products. When I arrive I plan to purchase a new antioxidant as I ran out of The Ordinary EUK 134. Even though I like this I won’t be purchasing it again this time. Because of the natural pigment in this it strained my transparent glasses where they sit on the bridge of my nose. Instead I have my eye on The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic acid 3%, I just need to check that it’s transparent in colour. Because of the city pollution I’m going to be needing it!

Cleanse, mist & moisturise…

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser suits my skin nicely. It removes SPF and it’s light enough to use day and night so I don’t have to bring a second cleanser. I’m flying through the Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence and Restorative Eye Cream which I reviewed recently. All of the Tata products are a pleasure to use and I had to include these essentials. Because the ingredients are natural and free from synthetic preservatives I’m enjoying the products whilst they are fresh. For hydration I’m taking Clinique Moisture Surge hydrator. It’s going to be warmish and sunny in London next week (can’t wait) and I’ll be in need of hydration. This is loaded with hyaluronic acid which will do the trick nicely.

Cosmetics…

I’m still loving the La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50. I’ve been using it for over a month now so I’ve had a chance to properly test it out and I think it’s really good. It’s lightweight yet moisturising without being greasy or too shiny. And most importantly it doesn’t leave a white cast which is essential as I don’t rock the casper look let me tell you! I’m giving my friend the Clinique superdefense SPF 20 which I initally reviewed here. My skin has been unbalanced and I think this is the culprit. It’s just too heavy for me and I should have got the version for oily or combination skin. I’m not either of those skin types but this is just too heavy with the shea butter.

I’m also taking some Glossier cosmetics. The perfecting skin tint and stretch concealer perk me up in the morning without looking like I’m wearing makeup. I’m also taking the boy brow in blond which is great but I heard Hourglass have a new brow product that’s even better. I might have to add that to my shopping list too!

So many great options here! I’ve yet to try Tata Harper and Glossier but I keep hearing so much about those two that I really should. Especially that Glossier cleanser!

Fortunately, I don’t have skin care issues, so cannot comment on this topic properly, however, I’m sharing this post with my brother-in-law, he’ll appreciate it. Thanks!
