INFLUENCERS: THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING A BLOG

I’m wearing a shirt from Maison Labiche AW/17-18.

I’m feeling frustrated with social media this week, well just Instagram to be honest. I received comments from my followers saying they hadn’t seen my posts in a while and I expect the algorithm has something to do with it. This situation goes to show the importance of maintaining a blog.

I feel lucky that I enjoy maintaining my blog. Whilst the visual content is important to me, so is taking the time to sit down a write a post. I’m feeling let down by instagram and I gave up on facebook ages ago. Did they add an algorithm to push people to pay for advertising? It feels like that to me which takes the pleasure away from using the platform.

As it stands I’m spending less time on social media and more on my blog. The networks will come and go so the importance of maintaining a .com is more important than over.

It’s a little frustrating especially hearing that people who want to see my posts aren’t. I have another blog post about that that I’m going to work on.

I have also experienced that with Instagram. They definitely don’t care about people like us, they only care about huge instagrammers and ads… Nice post and outfit btw

It’s a shame to say the least as it makes it even harder for new comers to be seen which doesn’t seem fair. I’m working on another post around the subject.

I hear ya buddy. I’ve had people telling me that they hadn’t seen my content in a while either which makes me so sad. You know how much effort we put into creating good content and its sad that not everyone sees it now 🙁
