My friend called on Friday as I was wracking my brains for something to blog about. I was completely stuck and trying to think of something was beginning to annoy me (totally blaming it on the recent new moon of Scorpio). Anyway, when I picked up I could tell my friend was not right and I quickly asked what was going on. To cut a long story short she was overwhelmed with everything going on in her life and didn’t know what to do. As we chatted on the phone I tried to offer some tips and advice to help her stay centered whilst everything else swirls around like a tornado. Most of us experience some level of stress on a regular (if not daily) basis and after I hung up from my friend I considered my increasing writers block and put it down to the juggling act of managing tasks. Autumn has officially kicked off so on Sunday I decided to get the camera and go for a walk in my area to capture the beautiful leaves before they fall down. Not relishing the thought of a long cold winter I reluctantly waved goodbye to Summer last week. In the last 18 months I have been blogging regularly and during that time I have learned so much about myself. Writing this is in itself making me feel uncomfortable as I’m opening up a little more. Certain anti-inflammatory foods, high in antioxidants work as a natural SPF. UV exposure is the biggest cause of skin ageing, not to mention skin cancer. Using a daily SPF is a wise choice but why not take it a step further by eating foods that bolster skin’s natural defense against the sun. View Post
There are those days when we wake up feeling a bit meh! It may be the weather, something that’s happening in life or mercury in retrograde serving us some heavy energy. These moments will always come up from time to time and whilst they can lower the mood there is always a chance to turn a bad day into a great day, we just need to try our best.
