An eclectic mix of winners…
It’s so good to be back! Last week I was in London for work and as per usual I didn’t get a change to post anything. It was a short trip so other than working in the salon I had hardly any time to myself. I did manage to pick up a few bit’s though that I want to share with you in today’s post.
Let’s start with the skincare…
I have wanted to try La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF for ages. From what I’ve heard it’s one of the best high quality facial SPF’s on the high street. I actually ran out of SPF whilst I was away and happened to see this at the airport. It’s extremely lightweight which I’m loving and it doesn’t leave a white cast on my face. So far sooo good.
In this recent post I reviewed a bunch of different Glossier products. It was more of a first impressions and since then my opinion hasn’t really changed. The stand out product is still the perfecting skin tint in medium. It evens out my skin yet still looks completely natural with a nice bit of glow.
If you didn’t read my post on fragrance profiling you might want to check it out. It was an incredible experience that left me loving Penhaligon’s. At the profiling I was matched with Lothair and I’m still enjoying it. It’s lightweight yet warm and feels perfect during the winter/spring transition.
There’s a new cocktail on the block and I’m loving it. Gin with pink grapefruit is what I’m talking about and it’s delicious. To counteract the good times with friends I invested in some milk thistle from Solgar. This is a great supplement for detoxing as it protects and helps repair the liver.
A great read…
If you haven’t read Philip Pullman’s books I urge you to do it. Over 10 years ago I read Northern Lights and went on to read The Amber Spy Glass and The Golden Compass. He just released The Book Of Dust which I also picked up at the airport. If you enjoyed Harry Potter or The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe you will love this.
